As many girls (and women, no doubt) would know, Twilight the movie has exploded everywhere. Young girls are obsessed, and aching for more of this teen romance with a twist. Bella Swan is a simple, small town girl with a casual, femininly evolving style. She sticks with basic jeans and shirts for the most part, adding small accessories to individualise her style. Want to dress like Bella? Here's how:
- You will want to invest in some good quality jeans. Depending on personal preference, either straight leg styles or boot cut will suit this look best. Bella tends to go for boot cut jeans in dark washes, which are available in nearly every brand.
- Throughout the movie Bella goes from casual to pretty, girlie clothes. Stick to lightweight fabrics for shirts and blouses in soft colours such as cream, white, pastels etc. Another option would be the long-sleeve cotton shirts Bella wears - think cream and white again. The more neutral, the better.
- Although Bella tends to stick to durable boots and sneakers in Twilight, ballet flats and anything in a flat shoe will do. Basic black or brown works, as well as anything you think will co-ordinate with your outfit.
- In the town of Forks it rains and is cold basicly all the time. To fight off the cold, invest in one or two good quality jackets. Bella has a grey/blue zip up jacket with a hood. She is also seen in a long brown rain jacket, which is less fashion forward but much warmer I'd guess. If you live in a warmer area, stick to lightweight cover-ups such as the white hooded cardigan Bella wears, or the green cotton hooded top.

- To really look like Bella, hair style and makeup is key. Bella has dark brown hair, which throws off red in the sunlight. This is an easy colour to achieve. The style of her hair is also simple, all you have to do is part it down the middle, and straighten the majority of it out if you have curly hair. Buy some cute little black headbands to hold back your front layers like Bella does. It is said that Bella doesn't wear makeup, but if you want to, stick to natural colours. A soft tan blush and a sweep of cream eyeshadow contours features. Add black or brown mascara and a little lip balm or gloss to finish the look.

Most importantly have fun with the "Bella" style, and make it your own.
